Question : Hello Doctor,
I have started taking cerazette tablets from 17th XXXXXXX and on 14th july it has been ended. But as I did not have a period I have been asked to go through a routine urine test which results negative. After that my doctor has advised to take Rgestrone 5 mg twice a day for 5 days which will be ended on day after tomorrow.
Now my question is can i go through an intercourse now as I don't want to be pregnant now.

I can understand your concerns.

Yes, you can have intercourse but i will advise condoms to be used.

This is because right now you have taken a few hormonal pills so your cycle is unpredictable.

So though the chances are very less but still there is a slight risk of pregnancy.

Please use a condom till your periods come and your cycles regularize.
