Is White Vaginal Discharge Normal After Using Endogest 200?

Question: Hi

My doctor has recommended me Endogest 200 vaginal. I am getting white creamy discharge post usage. Is that expected or am I doing something wrong.

At least till 16 weeks of pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
I prescribe it till 16 weeks at least but in case there are other risk factors in patient like previous abortions or short cervix or pain and heaviness then is given for longer periods.

Thanks Dr XXXXXXX seems I was not clear iny question. Doc suggested me to lay down for almost an hour post insertion of capsule. do you suggest same duration and also in case I need to go for two dosage in a day, how much gap should I keep between two.

Yes one hour rest is good

Detailed Answer:
Yes dear ideally you should lie down for an hour for proper absorption of the drug.
Gap should be 12 hours ideally but one of two hours up down makes no much difference.
But even after 1 hour of lying down the creamy discharge will come.
So don't feel that whole drug is out.
