My Stool And Urine Smells Like Smoky Meat. Cause?

There could be a few possibilities for your symptoms:
- Undigested food in the colon can sometimes get fermented and produce strange odours.
- Dehydration - this can often result in an ammoniacal smell in the urine.
- An infection of the urinary or digestive tract can also produce such odours.
- Rarely, liver diseases or certain metabolic diseases can be the cause of these symptoms.
I would suggest the following remedial measures:
- Drink plenty of water (at least 10 to 15 glasses a day) - this will help flush out any toxins and prebent dehydration
- Take a fibre-rich diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables
- Avoid oily or fatty or spicy foods
- Include lots of yoghurt and whole milk in your diet
- You can try a probiotic supplement - this contains healthy which will help clear out any harmful bacteria balance the intestinal system.
- Cranberry juice is a natural urinary antiseptic and can clear out any mild infection.
With these remedial measure, your symptoms should most likely get relieved. If not, you will have to undergo a few blood and urine tests to further investigate the problem.
Wish you all the best.
