Noticed Bruises And Blisters All Over Face And Body After Shower. Diagnosed Scabies. Suffer Severe Pain. Suggestions?

Question: About 3 yrs & a half yrs ago my whole life & health changed in an instant. I had just had my 1st baby who was about 6 months old & couldn't have been in a happier/healthy place in my life. That all changed around May of 2010. I was playing with my daughter on my bed & out of the clear blue I begin to feel a pin pricking sensation all over my scalp. I could actually feel some type of "bugs" moving rapidly all over my head (hair & scalp) & it felt as if "they" were biting my scalp. Im a very logical person so I assumed that I must have had head lice bc there didn't seem to be any other explanation. At the time I wasn't aware that lice cannot bite your scalp so I went & bought an over the counter lice treatment & that is when all hell broke loose...I got in the shower to wash out the shampoo, as soon as the water began to rinse through my hair & down my face & body, whatever these "creatures" were in my hair begin to start clinging/embedding in to my eyes, eye lids, face, back, buttocks, & feet. It felt as though some type of chigger like bugs were just clinging on to my body anywhere they could & then embedding under my skin. It was the worst pain I have ever felt, I was screaming the whole time. By the time I got out my whole face was red & swollen, my eye lids were swollen shut, the inside of my ears were blistered, my back & buttocks were covered in circular bruises with brown "mole like" things in the middle, & my feet were so red & swollen that you couldn't even tell that they were even feet!! We immediately started searching for dermatologist to find answers bc I was in agony & terrified. Once I finally saw the first one he was baffled but went ahead & diagnosed me with scabies, even though I had no itching, just severe pain. The treatments didn't help, actually the next shower I took my whole body was on fire & it felt like these "creatures" were eating through my skin. I got out after only about 5 min.bc I couldn't handle the pain & when I looked in the mirror my whole body was covered in perfect circular bruises that were raised above the skin, in the center of each of them there was a brown "mole like" thing hanging out of each bruise. Some of them were 3 to 4 in long, one on my shoulder blade hurt so bad that I was begging my husband to pull it out of my skin, He pulled as hard as he could & could not pull it out. We took a video bc we knew no dr would ever believe it without seeing it. To wrap this up, I have been suffering since then. I have been to so many dermatologist & they are baffled. I used to have beautiful skin & now Im covered in strange freckles and scars. I was finally referred to an infectious disease dr. & they ran tons of blood work. She said my EBV showed that I had a virus in my blood (mononucleosis) but that wouldn't explain all of this. A few nights ago I got in the shower & my inner knees swelled up so huge & were bright red & hot to the touch (and my feet). I couldn't walk until the next day but once the swelling on my inner knee went down I had this awful bruise that was in the strangest pattern, almost like a spiral or something. I am at my wits end, Im in constant pain, always tired, losing hair, severe muscle & bone aches, & constant infected sores with painful & swollen glands. Oh & severe pain in my stomach that causes it to swell up like im 9 months pregnant.
I know it all sounds completely insane, I would think so if someone told me all of this. But anybody who knows me knows that I have always been healthy & an athlete my whole life. I have never had any fears or phobias of mites or lice...Im desparate for answers bc I have a daughter to raise & Im not sure how much longer I can live in agony!! Please help!

Yes it does sound like a lot of random symptoms when I try to describe it all at once. I have a very hard time squeezing 3 & a half yrs of this whole "nightmare experience" into an e mail that is even able to make any sense! The most difficult part is finding the right words to describe what I have been experiencing when its something this bizarre & scary. I am a very rational person & my college major is in nursing. I have to be honest, if someone would have told me they were going through something like this 5 yrs ago I would have thought they were crazy bc it defies all logic. Part of the reason I have been suffering for so long is bc I knew that I was going to sound like a lunatic if I was fully honest with the doctors that I would go see. Any time I even mentioned that what Im experiencing feels & looks like the symptoms of some type of mite or parasite, I was either diagnosed with scabies (even though I don't itch) or I was told that it must be psychosis and/or self infliction?!? Even though little by little I began to start making some sense of what my body is going through & my husband has seen it all first hand as well, just recently I gained the confidence to start telling my new Dr's the full truth about what my body is experiencing. I began doing a lot of research on my own after being diagnosed w/ scabies countless times & treated countless times without getting any relief. I firmly believe that this all started with some type of mite that feeds on my blood. When I get hot you can see these blisters that are underneath my skin that have slowly turned in to tunnels underneath my skin. Its almost like tons of little highways that "they" travel through. In my husband & I's opinion it seems as though they have slowly started to take over my body & as the time goes by it really feels like "they" are winning. But yes the heat & showers are the 2 things that occasionlly cause my skin to swell up, turn bright red & hot to the touch, & will cause lesions/sores to appear within minutes & start opening up right away as if something is eating through the sores. The pain is unbearable & after about 15 min to 30 min the sores will be big & deep & covered with a strange clear puss...& that is without me even touching them once!
There are many more symptoms as more time passes by. Like the strange & painful bruising & swelling out of nowhere, the huge egg-like lumps that pop up underneath my skin always right before my skin will have another breakout in sores, & then the severe stomach pain & swelling. Oh & constant fatigue that is getting worse & worse.
My infectious disease Dr got my blood work back yesterday & she said almost everything looked good except for some type of virus in my blood?? I think that steroids are on of the scripts that she called in but I still don't think I am going to get the answers I need bc she just sounds clueless & she doesn't seem to believe that any type of mite is related. I don't think I have been verbal enough about the feeling that some type of living organism feels like they have infested my body.
I do have some very good photos that you had wanted me to upload for you. I have one of the crazy bruises on my inner knee that pop up in minutes, one of the many random lumps that look just like an egg is underneath my skin, & of a few open sores that were in between my shoulder blades where I couldn't even reach & each open sore always has two holes in the middle with a strange top layer of a clear sticky substance. Im not sure how to upload or send the photos without sending u an e mail, so please let me know the best way to get them to you & I will send them right away.
Thanks again for taking the time to try and make some sense of this all...I know its a lot of info & Im a little bit scattered, but I think Im explaining this all the best I know how over a computer. I have been suffering for so long now & I have to do whatever it takes to get answers soon bc I have a daughter & family that need me & Im not sure how much longer I can continue living in torture.
