Question: My doctor prescribed xanax(alprazolam) for me for anxiety control, but it caused me a urine delay, so I need an alternative knowing that I'm G6PDD

I can understand your concern. Most of benzodiazepines are considered as safe in G6PD deficiency but as you couldn't tolerate Xanax so in such case other relatively safer benzodiazepines can be used. Oxazepam or Etizolam can be used and these will not cause much problems.
