Suggest Ayurvedhic Treatment For Hair Loss

Question: I have been experiencing excessive hair loss since Aug 14. There is no major change in my diet than previously but I am trying to include more healthy products and trying bo eat every 2-3 hrs. Also since July 14 I have joined a zumba dance class.

Pls suggest how can I control hair loss.

Hair loss occur both physiologically as well as pathologically.

Even though you have nourished food many other causes like stress,pollution,water may also play a important role in hair loss.
As you seem to be young. Hair loss in this generation is more because of stress, pollution, etc. If you have genetic predisposition then hair loss will be obvious. That is your parents got hair loss at your age, then you cannot stop it naturally.

First, I would like to know the details of your hair loss.

Proper health care, hair care in hygienic way, proper nourishment to health as well as hair will generally help in controlling hair loss.

Give me the details so that I can advise you properly:

1. how frequent your hair loss?
2.How many hair per day? Approximately
3.Whether you have taken any steps to control your hair loss? Generally how you take care your hair?
4. How frequently do you use shampoo?
5.Did you apply hair oil regularly?
6.Any dandruff problem?
7.Any genetic cause have noticed?
8.your hemoglobin level?
9.currently you have changed your residence ?

1. My hair falls whenever I brush them / oil / shampoo them
2. Approx 100-150 when I oil/ shampoo & 50-75 when I comb them.
3. I have started to apply oil overnight before hair wash, I went for SPA once, I have applied methi seeds paste once a week since two weeks. I have changed my shampoo from sunsilk pink to Pantene.
4. twice a week
5. No . However now I have started to apply oil twice a week before hair wash.
6.Yes I have dandruff and my scalp becomes oily within 2-3 days
7. I have PCOD so may be there might be hormonal changes. However earlier my mother had thick and long hair but after menopause she is also experiencing hairfall. She is currently 53. My father also has hairfall issue and he is 58.
8. 13.3 g/dl
9. No we are staying in XXXXXXX since 5 year now.

Thanks for your reply.
As from your reply pcod seems to be the main reason for your hair loss.
First should treat your pcod.
As pcod is a horomonal imbalanced condition.it definitely cause problem both physically as well as mentally.
As ayurveda insist proper diet, lifestyle (practicing yoga and meditation)along with recommended medication will help in treating pcod.
Avoid junk, fired, caffeinated food items. Take more leafy vegetables and fruits

next for your hair care.
Apply sesame oil to your hair as well as scalp frequently thrice in a week.
Trichup hair oil should be used daily .
Use herbal shampoos like shymala . Use XXXXXXX herbalpaste to cleanse your hair alternatively.
Avoid stress, stay away from pollution.
Once your pcod problem gets settled possibility of hair loss will decrease..
