Suggest Ayurvedic Remedies For Anal Fistula
Question: Hi Doctor.
I have visited the Gastroenterologist surgeon for my problem and the doctor have confirmed that I have a Fistula in ano. The details are external opening at 5'o clock position and internal opening at 6'o clock
My Doctor has recommended for a surgery called Fistulotomy AO.
To rule out surgery I went to another doctor who has recommended Ayurvedic treatement where he will apply the cream in Anal and will treat the fistula. Not sure what procedure will be taken but the Doctor informed that only cream will be applied and the cream will remove the Puss and infection and finally it will get removed and there will be no Surgery. The Ayurvedic treatement is done by Allopathy doctor who is also an Gastroenterologist surgeon.
My doubts - Is the Surgery better way of treatment for fistula or the Ayurvedic way of applying cream and removing the fistula is better treatment. Could you please clarify my doubts. I am in a dilemma to choose between the two.

The fistula in ano diagnosis is definitely correct.
Surgery is definitely the better option and a surer way to get rid of the Fistula. But it is definitely not an emergency.
My opinion is that you should try other options for cure and if you can avoid surgery then good. Therefore it is worthwhile trying other treatments if you want to avoid surgery.
However if you want sure shot treatment then Surgery is the best option.
But it is a personal decision as to what you would want.
