Suggest Diet To Lose Weight
Question: Hi,
My weight is 72kg
height 5 feet 7 inches.
I am on a weight loss program.
i regularly go to gym.
My question is how much protein and carbs i need to take in a day?
Currently i am eating 1200 calories a day which includes almost 90 to 100 grams of protein and less than 100gm carbs. I eat 12 egg whites and 2 full eggs in a day. I also take 1 scoop of whey protein on gold 100% post workout. So far i m doing good. My concern is whether this diet has any side effects in future? I eat 4 egg whites and 2 full boiled eggs in breakfast. Then 1 cup of corn, 4 egg whites, cucumber. Then 4 egg whites in evening snacks. Then 1 scoop whey protein after workout. Then in dinner 1 or 2 chapati with any vegetable. Is my diet correct? My main goal is reduce fat and build muscles. Please provide suggestions. How much protein intake is good for me?

Brief Answer:
Diet is proper
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on Health care magic.
Usually 1-2gms of protein per kg body weight is recommended. So, 90-100g of protein is right for you(although it could be increased slightly). The amount of carbohydrate is fine. Your present diet is unlikely to have any adverse effect in the future.
Regular work out is also important.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards
