Suggest Dosage For Adderall
Question: I currently see a doctor for adult ADD, he has been fine...but recently is making me feel like I need to beg for it. I take 30xr once a day and recently asked if we could break it up because I am studying in the AM and PM. When I asked him to change the dose, he began to make it harder for me to get from him. He also began making the scripts one week at a time so I need to keep going back. I have always needed to go and pick up the script...but now he won't have it ready for me, won't call me for days after I request the script and the nurses don't act like they used to. I would just like to get my medicine without feeling like this. I would like to take 20xr in the AM/PM to help me with my work. I am getting my Doctorate in OT, am a single mom of two, work full time and get no help (physical or financial) from their father. Thank you very much!

Thanks for writing to us. I can understand your situation.
In general adderall is used for concentration and prescribed for daytime. Your request of taking dose twice a day might have been taken negatively by your doctor (he might thought that you are misusing it).I want to suggest one option. You should convince (by saying sorry or through the requesting words/letter you can) your doctor that you are ready to take 30 mg xr as before. You need it two times to attend your study well. You can simply break the tablet in to half and take one part at AM and another at PM. Breaking the tablet will make it like plain tablet but its effects will be same and 15 mg dose would be fine for you.
If you think that above option will not work, the remaining option is consulting other doctor who can provide prescription in genuine manner according to your need. I cannot provide direct help as online prescription is not valid. I am sorry for limitation from our side. It is better to take medicine after consulting local doctor so any side effect occurs by chance doctor can provide immediate help.
