Suggest Dosage For Aleve And Naproxen
Question: I wrote it on the previous screen - here it is again
This weekend hurt my lower back - from activity over use - back spasms or muscle pull. Bent over and just felt a sharp pull - probably muscle contraction.
I am taking Aleve - Naproxen - 220 mg gel caplets. On Sunday between noon and 8 am Monday - 20 hours - I took 440 at noon, 220 at 8 pm and 220 at 8 am Monday - I now the bottle say 660 mg in a 24 hours period but I did not have any side effects. By the same token the Dentist has sometimes has recommended higher Aleve doses..
What just wondering is there is a safe range other than what the manufacturer recommends which is probably on the low end.
Safe or past best practice range for 12 hours and for 24 hours of Aleve - I know the Rx versions are higher than the Aleve bottle.
