Suggest Health Powder To Help Loose Weight
Question: can you suggest any health powder which will help to loose weight but there ashould be any side effect or arise any complication to health or to pregnancy.
Brief Answer:
Please state if you are pregnant
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for your query.
Very few medicines are actually approved for weight loss. Health powders as such are not tested extensively and are not reliable for the purpose. I would like to know what is your current weight, height and if you have any other medical condition or pregnancy.
I will be better able to help if you provide details.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
You are overweight
Detailed Answer:
Hi again
You are overweight as your BMI is 25 kg/m2.
My recommendations are as follows:
- You should first try lifestyle changes i.e changes in diet and exercise. In diet take low calorie foods. Avoid fatty foods like cheese, butter, ghee, sweets, ice cream, chocolates, etc. Take fruits and salad upto 5 times a day.
- Slimming powders usually contain ayurvedic components. Most of them are safe, sometimes have side effects but are not backed by enough research. Now I dont know which slimming powder you are referring to. So I cannot comment specifically. But in general I would not suggest it to an overweight (not obese) person.
- Orlistat is a safer medicine available freely in XXXXXXX for weight loss. It prevents the absorption of fat from diet into intestines. So that excessive dietary fat is excreted in stools. This also I will not recommend to an overweight person atleast until you have tried lifestyle measures for atleast 5-6 months.
Hope it helps.
