Brief Answer:
Topical ulta-potent steroids

Detailed Answer:
Lichen sclerosus is a chronic inflammatory and scarring disease that preferentially affects the genital area and perianal area, although any cutaneous site may be affected, including the oral mucosa.
Lichen sclerosus is 6 -10 times more prevalent in the females than in the males.
Its cause it still unknown though infectious etiology and autoimmune theories are proposed.
The first line of management is topical ultra-potent corticosteroids. For resistant patches intralesional steroid injections can be given.
Other treatment options are topical tacrolimus or pimecrolimus, topical calcipotriol, topical retinoids.
Apart from topical therapy, certain oral drugs like Acitretin,Stanozolol, antimalarials, antibiotics etc can also be tried.
In some case phototherapy also has show good results.
