Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Oral
Submucous Fibrosis due to
tobacco chewing history and it occurs due to formation of thick fibrous bands inside the cheek mucosa leading
Hope this information helps.. to
stiffness and reduced mouth opening..
The blue lines that are visible can be dilated veins or linea alba..
You should consult an oral physician and get evaluated and a through clinical evaluation will help in confirming the diagnosis..
For Oral submucous fibrosis he can advise you to apply a steroid containing ointment and hyluronidase containing ointment over the inner cheeks..
Intra-lesional injections containing steroid and hyluronidase can help in breaking the fibres..
Anti-oxidant like lycopene can be taken..
Mouth opening exercises will also be demonstrated and advised to do 3 to 4 times a day.
You should completely stop chewing tobacco as Oral submucous fibrosis is already a
precancerous condition and if the habit is not stopped for long time it can lead to
oral cancer..
Thanks and regards.
