Usually post operative

And prognosis is very good in buccal mucosa cancer.
Usual life expectancy is more than 10 years.
So no need to worry much for this. This is not life threatening cancer.
Ask patient to avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid hard to chew food. Avoid habit of
tobacco chewing if he has this habit. Start
multivitamin and
antioxidants tablet.
