Suggest Medicines To Increase Appetite After Child Delivery
Question: Hi doctor, Its XXXXXX here from XXXXXXX My baby is born on March 2013. Before delivery i was 58 kg. I was thinking that it was too much. But now after delivery i am 43 kg . So I can look like a skull. I am alone with my baby since my husband is working in abroad so sometimes i skip breakfast or lunch. I can feel that i am very weak and i am not healthy.. i am having skin problems, hair loss.. can you suggest me any medicine that makes me hungry..

There are no direct medications to increase appetite but you should correct what you have lost in pregnancy.
This includes taking iron and multivitamin tablets as these are the common problems in pregnancy.
Also you should eat what you like at least in small frequent amounts.
Please do not take any appetite increasing drugs as they cause harm over the long term.

Thank you so much doctor for your timely reply.. But because of this weight loss i am having so many disadvantages like sometimes i feel like fainting, and i cant walk more than certain limit.. and i would like to know because of this whether my baby gets affected in indirect way??
