Suggest Remedies For A Non-painful Lump At The Base Of Right Knee Cap

Question: I have a non- painful lump/bulge just at the base of my right knee cap?
Brief Answer:
Bursitis
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns
You have noticed a new lump form at the base of the knee cap. This is bursitis. This is a fluid filled sac possibly from trauma or from going on bended knee too much. The best treatment is to rest the knee, apply an ace wrap and take an anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen. The swelling will resolve in about 1-2 weeks. But you need to stay off the knee, no deep knee bending and no running.
I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
