Suggest Remedies For Boils On Back, Thighs And Scalp
Question: Hi Doc,
I been having this Boils on my Back and my Scalp my thighs for the last 3 to 4 years . They appear to be red Bumps they sometimes they get pus in them .
Four weeks ago i went a dermatologist and he diagnosed it as folliculitis and put me on minocycline 90 mg once per day. I Took the tablets for four weeks and most of my boils on my scalp is gone , 80 % of the boils from my back is also gone. But on my thighs the boils keep coming back not at the same rate as before but they are coming back . This week the doctor reduced the does to 80 mg .
my question is :
1) Can this be ever cured
2) will this come back if i stop my medicine.
3) what could have caused this .i do not have diabetes , I even did an HIV test and as expected it was negative .
