Suggest Remedies For Joint Pain While Treating Underactive Thyroid
Please kindly give me some more information about your health problem
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using HCM,
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
I will need some more information in order to have a through idea about the pain you are complaining.
-- Which joints do you have ache in general? It is very important for me to know if it is in any particular big joint, or small joints like fingers, toes, ect.
-- Do you have stiffness in the morning? If yes, how much does it last?
-- What is your profession? Some professions cause some particular problems of the joints so knowing that would be helpful.
-- Have you had any fracture, or joint problems before? Do you have family history of joint problems?
-- Have you tried any medicine so far? If yes, what have your tried and how helpful it is?
-- Can you tell me which are the tests that you did? I see they have shown up normal, but knowing what you did will give me an idea to suggest others that may be needed.
Please kindly let me know these answers, and I will be happy to help with professional advise.
Regards.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thank you for your follow-up question.
From what I understand, seems like it is a problem getting worse.
-- If it happening in more then 1 joint, it is less likely to be osteoarthritis but still can be possible.
-- Seems like you have pain in big joints, and not particularly in the small ones. In this case it is less likely to be rheumatoid arthritis, but still can be if the joint problem is symmetric/both sides.
The most important thing is that the necessary tests have shown up negative. This means that the doctors have done tests to rule out other problems, other then osteoarthritis, and they have turned out to not be that.
So, I would suggest to use painkiller regularly because they lower the inflammation in the joints. If you still have pain, continue going to your local doctor to follow-up with him until you both decide the combination of pain killers that are good for you, until your pain and inflammation is controlled. Meanwhile, your doctor will repeat the tests continuously, and make sure their values don't change from normal limits.
Hope this is somehow helpful.
Let me know if I can help you with further clarifications.
Regards,
