Suggest Remedies For Muscle Cramps In Feet And Legs

Question: I get muscle cramps in my feet and legs. I have heard that magnesium can sometimes help. Is that safe to try and how much should I take?
Brief Answer:
No magnesium is not helpful
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I have studied your case. Cramps are due to muscle weakness, low calcium, low salt in body. Taking magnesium alone is not helpful. I have following suggestions for you.
1.take glass of water with one tea spoon ful salt twice daily and whenever there is cramp. You will immediately feel relief.
2.take 1000 mg calcium daily and 60000 vitamin D 3 per week for six weeks.
3.increase protein in diet, take egg, chicken and fish in diet.
I hope these steps will be helpful for you. Let me know if you want to ask any other follow up questions.
Thanks

I take 2 Citracal daily (1000 mg calcium, 250 IU Vit D, and 80 mg Magnesium), I drink 16 oz Propel electrolyte water, I have an egg or a protein shake for breakfast 2-4 days a week, I eat meat, chicken or fish for every lunch and dinner. I will try the salt water the next time I have cramps. If it does not help, I want to try the magnesium. A friend had immediate relief after taking it. I just need to know what a safe amount would be.
Thank you
Thank you
