I do not feel sick or nauseau my hearbeat is perfectly normal. I had about 5 beers yesterday for the first time in 2 months i dont normally drink that much. Could this be a problem with my liver .

Brief Answer:
It maybe gastritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM.

You say the 'stomach upset' and mild dull pain have been there for a few days. Since it is 'coming and going' it is probably not the liver.

I think it is gastritis (the end of the stomach called pylorus extends to right side) and sure it can get exacerbated by too many beers.
Another possibility is mild inflammation in the gall bladder. If it was severe, you would have intense pain. We will keep this in mind.

I would suggest you take an antacid with Simethicone (to absorb gas) three times a day for 3 days. If it does not clear, get an abdominal sonography done.

Hi there the pain in my stomach is probably about 2 out of ten pain threshhold its almost unnoticable but travels more around lower abdomen and then to the right lower abdomen although it its predominently in the right abdomen it will go away then feel a bit of pain in left lower abdomen and then the right pain comes back again. As said this is not excruciating just slight dull discomfort pain. I also feel sometimes a bit of reflux sometimes in my chest randomly also. I think because it comes and goes is the strange thing about it. I do not feel sick or nausea just my ongoing vertigo which is better than the other day any ideas what it might be.

Brief Answer:
Since it is coming and going, it is probably influenced by food intake

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Since it is coming and going, it is probably influenced by food intake, stage of digestion etc so I would still go by my diagnosis of indigestion.

If it was an infection you would have Diarrhea.

With anything serious you would have had progress in pain.

I would still like you to take something like Omeprazole, plus simethicone and a digestive enzyme for a week.

If there is no improvement, please get a sonography done to detect some hidden cause.

Hoping you get well fast, regards
