Suggest Remedy For Acne
Question: Help, my 18 year old daughter is a freshman in college and is dealing with the worst acne she's ever encountered. Shes getting sleep, drinking tons of water, eating healthly for a college student but is prob stressed. To me it looks like cystic acne that is going to scar. Her dermatologist put her on Bactum and a topical cream (Finacea)…..neither are working…..Surely theres something that can help???

When the treatment was started. It usually takes week or so to clear, so kindly take the medication as suggested by the dermatologist. May I ask since when did she start using it
I suggest her not to picking up on any of the lesions as that will lead to deep scars and pigmentation.
Apart from the above mentioned treatment I would suggest her to follow a routine of cleansing, sunscreen , creams daily.cleanse your face with cetaphil cleansing lotion for acneprone skin thrice daily.sunscreen needs to be used daily , neutrogena would be a good choice. Also ask her to avoid oily food as much as possible. With all three measures she should be fine.
