Suggest Remedy For Burning Sensation On Scrotum

Question: Hi, I am currently having a stinging / burning sensation on my scrotum. I don't think its fungal because I tried fungal creams and oral meds. I saw the doctor. He said it was nothing to worry about. I had std tests and urine tests. They all came negative. My doctor said there is a rash but it would clear up and still I would get these symptoms. This symptom is really annoying me. It's bearable but it's annoying.

Hey doctor. Thanks for helping me with my problem. Ok here is some pictures of it. The last time i intercourse was 2 years ago. It was around july 2012 with my ex. She said she was clean. It was unprotected sex. The day before i had shaved so maybe that could of been a reason.? I am a healthy person. No sickness. This symptom started last year. It mostly bothers me in the winter time. When im feeling cold it would burn or sting. I went to my doctor and he gave me many prescriptions. I tried lotrisone. I had fluticasone 100mg. I tried a hydrocortisone cream. When i used that it started to burn. My doctor told me its nothing to worry about. He told me to use baby oil once or twice a day. The rash i had he said disappeared but i send you some pictures so you can see for yourself. I still have the symptoms. These couple of months that past. I had hiv, herpes, syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia tests and also urine tests for other stuff. They came out negative. So its not a std i think. Is it because i shaved down there ?Any other information you need. Please let me know. Hope this helps
Brief Answer:
May be due to irritation or dryness
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for follow up query.
I have gone through the photos and the description.
I do not see any rash or lesions for now. Hope I am correct.
These symptoms are not due to STDs. More over the tests having come negative. You can allay fears of STDs.
Shaving to close can cause burning sensation or folliculitis. So please do not shave or trim too close.
It can be due to friction or irritation or dryness.
Wear loose cotton inner wears. See that there is good ventilation. You can wear boxer shirts when at home, so that there is good ventilation.
Do not wash frequently or cause irritation.
You can use cleansers like cetaphil.
If too dry or irritation you can use gentle moisturizing lotions.
Drink plenty of fluids and water.
You can get back for any clarification.
Thank you

Hey thanks for your feedback. The rash did clear up and i have no lesions except for the shaving bumps. So you think im getting these symptoms because of dryness. Can you recommend any gentle moisturizing lotions that i can use? Can i use cocoa butter on it? I will start to do what you say and hopefully these symptoms go away. Thanks
Brief Answer:
Emoderm lotion or cetraben cream.
