Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to Health Care Magic, Thanks for writing to us,

I am Dr.Muhammad Ahmad, I have read your question, I understand your concern and will try to help you in the best possible way.

There may be a number of causes of burning sensation in skin.

Peripheral neuropathy:

affects any peripheral nerve in the body and is a common source of pain. It’s most often caused by diabetes. When at least two nerves or areas are affected, as can happen in leprosy, it’s called mononeuritis multiplex

Neuralgia:

is burning pain along a nerve caused by irritation to that nerve. It can be caused by infections like shingles, chemical irritants, pressure from bones or tumors, trauma, or diabetes.

Certain nutritional deficiencies can also include burning pain as a symptom.

Pernicious anemia:

is a vitamin B12 deficiency.

Megaloblastic anemia :

may be related to vitamin B12 or folic acid deficiency.

Beriberi:

is a deficiency in thiamine, or vitamin B1.

Hypoparathyroidism:

is a rare disease characterized by an underproduction of parathyroid, a hormone. This can lead to a calcium deficiency.

Treatments for Burning Sensation:

How a burning sensation is treated depends on the underlying cause. Regardless of how that condition is treated, the pain can be controlled with over-the-counter or prescription painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications. Damage in the spine is treated with pain medications or steroid injections or with surgical procedures.
For the nerve pain of neuralgia or neuropathy, treatment depends on the cause of the nerve damage, or irritation.

Treatments may include painkillers, physical therapy to improve range of motion, care for diabetes or shingles, steroid injections to reduce swelling, or the surgical removal of a tumor. There is no cure for multiple sclerosis, but certain medications can slow down the disease’s progression and control symptoms.

If we talk about your case specifically.

In my opinion it is due to some peripheral nerve hyper sensitivity or may be a seasonal allergy.

I would suggest you to try some simple methods which are expected to make things better.

1) Take a good multi vitamin like Centrum daily one pill.

2) Protect the burning skin from heat exposure.

3) massage that skin with voltral or brufen gels which will reduce inflammation. Cold therapy gels also help to reduce the sensation.

4) Take OTC antihistamin like Citrizine 10mg daily at night to protect yourself from allergy.

These methods will are expected to help you much in getting relief from the problem but it may take some time for the vitamins to strengthen your nerves.
