Dear Doctor Pandey,

Here are the answers to your questions:
1. He had jaundice once he was 10-12 years old, there is nothing now. He had malaria once last year.
2. No, he does not consume alcohol at all
3. Roughly from last 3-4 months but it was diagnosed only a month ago after several tests and investigation by several doctors
4. There's no specific pain in any specific part of the body. He feels feverish all the time, tired, drowsy/ sleepy, redness in the eyes sometimes, weakness like pain in the whole body and this increases a bit after some heavy work.
5. Medicines taken for last one month - Thyroxin 50 tablet - once a day 2 hours before breakfast, RF Plus -Vitamin supplement once a day
7. He also feels that the urine turns yellowish often but if he increases intake of water, that improves. His liver profile tests are also normal.
8. He took leave for a month and was on medication (continuing now as well) but does not see any signs of relief yet.

Please let me know if you have any other queries.

Thank you doctor. A couple of follow up questions:

1. He is already taking allopathic medicine as I mentioned earlier. So should he take these homeopathic medicines in continuation with that or should he discontinue those. In case of discontinuity, wouldn't there be any adverse effects?

2. Is there any diet restriction - like no Non-veg etc - He takes river fish and chicken but is not taking for the last one month

3. The medicines you have advised are only to treat the thyroid disorder or for the high triglycerides/ cholestrol as well.

4. Consuming these medicines, in approximately how much time should he expect relief? 1 month or could show results in less than a month?

5. In terms of exercise, he is going for long walk, jog in the mornings and push ups in the evening for the last 1 week. Is this too much or too little or ok?

Brief Answer:
Followup query

Detailed Answer:
Hello
There is no problem taking the allopathic medicine along with homoeopathic medicine. But there should be some time gap between the medicine. But if he is under steroid or hormonal treatment then first complete the the course then start homoeopathic treatment. In such case medicine will not work effectively.(But can be taken with Thyroxine)
He would be completely under diet restriction. Understand his liver is weak. taking alcohol, high fiber diet or non veg item may lead to some serious trouble. So he should avoid such items. Preferably Khichadi, dal pani milk or protein is good for him. Similarly only RO water should be taken. If not available Boile the water and then cool and this cool water can used for drinking purpose.
Medicine advised are not for thyroid disorder he can continue medicine for thyroid. That is best for him. We are focusing on his other trouble.
This is not only the medicine which influence the treatment. There are many thing are involve like diet exercise water etc. So advice you first start the treatment and then progress will be tracked.
Mild exercise is god for him . No need to go for heavy exercise. He is doing great on this matter so continue doing this.

Hope this is clear to you

Thanks

Thanks for the details. Though I am not a medical expert, I want to know is his lipid/fat metabolism weak due to weak liver? And also his symptoms of weakness are due to liver? His liver problem is more serious than his thyroid problem? Secondly, since you have mentioned less fiber in his diet - are fruits and veggies to be avoided like spinach etc? And non veg is rich in protein so that too is to be avoided, especially river fish? I am also asking coz his resources are limited as he belongs to the lower economic strata of the society and is extremely upset with his prolonged illness. Hope you will understand where I am coming from.

Brief Answer:
you are right

Detailed Answer:
Hello
You are right on the matter. Due to liver following finding are prominent. If not treated properly it may lead to some serious problem. Thyroid does not cause emergency situation but if liver is not treated then there may be emergency situation.
He can take fruit or fruit juice but avoid non veg item

ok. My last questions - Do you suspect jaundice? What could have caused this liver problem - some infection or something else? With your medicines and adequate diet control, in what time do you expect atleast symptomatic relief if not full control of the problem?

Brief Answer:
There is some sign for Jaundice.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
There is some sign for Jaundice. But condition is not very worse now. But it may go worse if not treated.
It can be easily controlled by medicine and dietary precautions.
Relief can be observed with in 10-15 days but once complete relief or cure can not be reached he has to continue the medicine and all other measure otherwise it may repeat with greater extent.
But complete relief may take some time depending upon the progress.

Thanks
