Suggest Remedy For Pain Due To Varicose Veins
Question: I am 50, female, always had varicose veins, but Saturday night painful inside of right knee upon standing after sleeping all night. Better as I walk around, but still notice burning sensation. is this just getting old, and varicose veins? my father had them also.

Hi. Firstly your age is not apt to be labelled old. So get that out of your mind. The pain and burning could be because of the varicose veins. Your photo does show Varicosities. Have you got a Color Doppler done? If yes then please share the report. If not then please consult your Doctor to arrange for the same. You should get treated for them. You can get laser or open surgery done. Till you dont do so you can wear CoCompression stockings Class II. These will keep them in check. I usually prescribe my patients Tab Daflon twice daily which decrease the symptoms due to Varicose veins. Take care and let me know if I can help you with any further questions.
