![default](/r/images/default.png)
Brief Answer:
You may need to get your x ray done.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query
I'm Dr Sudhir Kumar
I have gone through your query and understand your concern. You have injury mainly to your left hip and back region. You will be benefitted by rest and analgesic such as ibuprofen ( already taking). But you need to get your x ray to rule out any fracture, for which you have to be seen by doctor. I wanted to know whether you are able to walk or noy.
Hope your query is answered. If you have any clarification then I will be happy to help you.
Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

yes I can walk and I even do stairs with a little pain. the pain seems to radiate from my left side to the center of my buttocks. When the meds wear off, the pain is excruciating. My hip is fine. When I fell, I fell directly on my bottom. is there any cure or do I need stronger meds (which can only be obtaining by visiting my PHP). Been taking Alleve since last night which you supposedly only need only 2 hrs and it does not work too well. The pain seemed better managed by taking 3 200mg ibuprofen and I've almost finished a bottle of 60 this week! Im thinking I may have shattered something with this stabbing pain. Its not just being sore, its jabs and stabs and the pain is unbearable. and I am a female - not sure why is says Im a male.
Brief Answer:
You are probably having soft tissue injury.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome back
Probably you have got soft tissue injury. You need to rest to recover from it and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. You can take 600 mg ibuprofen 8 hourly 3 times a day. If you have pain relief from this then it is ok otherwise you may need stronger analgesic such as tramadol for which you probably will need prescription. Vitamin B and C helpful in recovery. It seems unlikely to be fracture ( bony injury) but it can be excluded by x ray.You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Rest already discussed.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
