Suggest Remedy For Pain Post Gastric Bypass Surgery

Question: preop gastric bypass surgery I was 107kgs with low testosterone levels.i was taking then penegra 50mg & tadalafil 20mg daily.Before a day of surgery i was asked to stop.Postop gastric bypass surgery after 8 weeks I am now 86kgs but no sexual desire at all.,Testosterone's total us normal. Yesterday XXXXXXX advised sustimax 250mg deep IM inj once in 3 weeks & tadalafil 10mg tablets every alternate day one.But after administering sustimax yesterday the pain in buttock as not subdued at all.What should I take to reduce the pain.Also is dosages are OK?

I understand your concerns about pain.

It is good to know you are losing weight.

Weight loss is associated with low libido and sexual desire.

This will recover once your weight loss is settled.

Deep intramuscular sustimax injection is known to cause pain.

You can switch over to sustimax tablets instead of injections.

Dosage seems to be fine.

As of now apply hot waterbag over injection site to reduce pain.

Dr what is the dosage u advice when I switch over to tablet before I was insulin dependant postop 8th week now I am taking only Metformin 250mg morning & night

Weight loss has lead to this problem.

This will eventually get corrected once weight loss settles.

Take these Medicines only when you are planning to have sex or even slightly desirous of sex. Taking everyday won't be of much benefit.
