Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

First of all let me reassure you that such description does not indicate any threatening condition (like stroke, tumor, nervous system inflammation or infection etc). Such localization, intensity, lack of other symptoms are not typical for them and the sensitivity to touch neither.

One possibility is tension type headache which is the most common type of primary headache (primary meaning with no identifiable cause). The intensity, sensitivity to touch correspond to it, it usually is bilateral but there are atypical presentations.

Another possibility is a dental issue, either an issue of the molars or of the temporomandibular joint (the joint between lower jaw and the skull). Such unilateral presentation may be explained by both those possibilities.

An ear infection is another possible cause for that localization.

In the absence of other symptoms it is difficult to pinpoint the cause rightaway, often the pain subsides without any visible cause being identified. For the moment I wouldn't suggest any rushed tests. An over the counter antiinflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen is appropriate for the management of the symptoms in all the possibilities I mentioned and usually more effective then Tylenol. If symptoms persist then perhaps a dental issue might be the most appropriate to be explored by a dentist first (unless some other symptom which might indicate something else appears of course).

I remain at your disposal for further questions.
