Brief Answer:
Povidone iodine, pop up, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and a clear picture.
Seen the image which shows a healing wound up and to the right, the one which is very obvious with stretched and discolored skin, and a pointed white spot is cellulitis with pointing abscess.
Due to shear pressure the skin gives the burning and irritating sensation.

I would advise you the following:
Apply liquid povidone iodine locally and try to open up the white dead skin; if done, this will release the pressure and aid in healing.
Addition of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory can help to reduce the pain further, help in faster healing.
Please continue applying liquid povidone iodine daily so that the further infection is avoided

I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.

Brief Answer:
Liquid form is also available.

Detailed Answer:
Povidone iodine comes as liquid too.
Liquid spread nicely. Kills all the bacteria on the skin.
Cream or gels make it smudgy particularly in such areas hence liquid for is preferable. Must be available at Pharmacy nearby.
Take care, Get well soon.
