Brief Answer:
no treatment is needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

if you had a subconjunctival hemorrhage (that is on the white part of the eye) then neither cold nor warm compress would be appropriate. Actually no treatment at all is indicated or needed. The blood will be absorbed by itself and will leave no problems to you or your vision.
If your situation is different from the aforementioned one or you're having many recurrent attacks of subconjunctival hemorrhage then you should pay a visit to an eye specialist (ophthalmologist). Otherwise your condition is not worrisome.
I hope I've helped.
If you need more information, please ask and I'll be glad to answer.

Kind Regards!
