Suggest Treatment For Burning And Irritation In Eyes

I had conjunctivitis over last weekend. Though, I recovered from it, there is still redness in the eye. I consulted the Opthamologist and he was of the opinion that I might have had a subconjunctival hemorrhage. Since, I am an IT Professional, i use a laptop for my daily work. Since 2 days, I feel a pain in the eyes, burining, irritation during prolonged use of the laptop. Please advice.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are had conjunctivitis and you were treated for conjunctivitis.
The symptoms of irritation, burning indicate either chronic conjunctivitis because of persistence of the infection or because of dryness of eyes caused by long time exposure to laptop screen called as computer vision syndrome.
The treatment for chronic conjunctivitis is by use of artificial tears eye drops and for dry eyes you need to use artificial tears eye drops.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination for confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this information is helpful to you.

Thank you
