Brief Answer:
I think managing stress can help you

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Health care magic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

First of all there is enough evidence to suggest that exposure of children to violent behavior causes permanent changes in developing personality. It does not mean that she will be definitely affected but the possibility is high in compare to general population. I nean to say that there is need to control your breakdowns.

Although there are many do's and dont's to avoid such behavior I feel it is most important to identify the antecents of explosive behavior and than only you can have control on such behavior.

The second important thing is to have stress management strategies. I hope you may be practicing many of them but having them regularly is important. Few of them are regular physical exercise , plenty of water intake, timely and adequate sleep, avoidance of junk foods, meditation and yoga.

Thirdly I think if your dose of escitalopram is just 10 or 15 mg we can think of increasing upto 20 mg total. This need to be discussed with treating psychiatrist.

I hope this helps you.
If you have more questions feel free to write back to me.
Thanks and regards.
