
Suggest Treatment For CIDP

I have read some studies about fasting and when done right, can help with spring cleaning the immune system (bad cells). I am looking at my general health from a nutritional/holistic perspective, knowing there is no miracle cure to my CIDP . Still, I want to make sure I am in doing what I can to be in optimal health with my immune system.
I am considering doing a 3 day water fast and wanted to know if there are any outward concerns with that, given my CIDP. I thinking I am in healing stage from a relapse of active demylenation (post- hysterectomy surgery in December). IVIG is every 2 weeks now and I have residual weakness in my legs. Healing from hysterectomy is going great (physically and per my surgeon).
I know there are risks with fasting, especially over extended period (eating into muscle/proteins). My plan was to try a fruit/veggie cleanse and then a month later, the water cleanse, easing into it and out of it with intermittent fruit intake. I would start on a weekend from home, monitor my symptoms, and work the third day from home with low physical requirements.
I am going to discuss this with my MD, but wanted to get a second opinion related to any risk.

With regards to your water fast test,24 hr water fast test is proven to benefecial.It will pop up your immunity and wash out toxic metabolites.
3 day water fast is not advisable as the chances of causing catabolism of muscle proteins is high and hence it should be avoided.
