The hospital was the one who took the throat culture in the nose called sir and told me that I have no mercy and said they would continue swabbiing me until they seen that I got better there currently using very very strong medication I don't know how I got it they are saying it is only contact related they are not sure what caused it they are assuming it was because I was in the hospital too long or too much they're not sure they're saying it was some kind of bacteria possibly that just grew for many many days or weeks therefore I am Not sure what kind of treatment they are getting ready to put me through now I was only given this in the emergency department quite some time ago it started with a headache neck pain and back pain

Hi,
MRSA is usually a hospital acquired infection, and definitely it needs extensive treatment.
On Out patient basis, i prefer to use usually medicines like Linezolid for this purpose.
These medicines are being given for long time and shows very good results.
However, obtaining an Culture sensitivity is must in order to find out which antibiotic is absolutely sensitive for the bacteria.
Based on the culture report the antibiotic can be changed.
Resistant cases are treated with Meropenem or Vancomycin.
