Suggest Treatment For Allergic Rhinitis
Looks like Allergic rhinitis, need a little more information.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
The symptoms you have complained about mostly point to allergic rhinitis, either seasonal or perennial . The other prominent symptoms could be running nose, congestion and itchiness. A few questions I would like to ask are, if you have any family history of asthma or eczema or allergic history. Also is it something which is seasonal or is it there all throughout the year?
For either of them, I think you should start with Cortispray which is a nasal spray that will help in reducing the symptoms almost immediately. But do not inhale them forcefully, just spray it in the nostril. Also for the initial days you can also get started on Tab Rupanex-M twice a day for a week. Use it for a period of a month and it should subside. Though occasionally you may get such attacks, when you can restart using them.
Hope this helps you, if you have any more queries/ clarifications, do get back to me.

Pradeep
It is probably a seasonal rhinitis then.

Hi,
It most probably is a seasonal rhinitis then. I would suggest you to get started on Tab Rupanex-M and also take a mucolytic syrup like Bromex, 10ml twice a day. Both these drugs are prescription medicines. Please get them prescribed by your doctor. That should decrease the thick mucous and the tablet will help with the recurrent sneezing.
Do you have any fevers or cough along with the thick mucus? If you do then antibiotics might be needed. Else, the treatment I recommended should suffice. No need to use the spray that I suggested as I think it is not the allergic variety of rhinitis that would require this spray.
If you have any clarifications or follow-ups, do get back to me.

So there is no requirement of antibiotics at this stage.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Then these medications should help. Take them for a week and get back as to how the symptoms are. Also it will help to avoid cold items. Doing warm saline gargles, steam inhalation daily for 10 minutes each 4 times a day, you can get well sooner.
As always, do get back for any clarifications.
