Suggest Treatment For Appendicitis

CT scan abdomen helps the best.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query about your daughter.
To recapitulate: Female/14 - severe pain in right lower abdomen 6 days ago - stabbing lasting more than 20 minutes initially - tearing or reaping on Sat - blood, urine and ultrasound - Friday admitted with saline drip - vomited bilious fluid on Sat - pain still present but no fever, no other indicators - mild nausea - second opinion - pain 7/10 last night - gave 2 Hedafen - this morning pain 4/10 - Doctors at hospital not willing to pass a camera -
My thoughts:
- When in doubt - go for contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen - give a lot more information than ultrasound.
- Has she her Menarche - starting her periods?
if yes, which day of the cycle the pain started?
Ovulation pain in teenage can mimic similar picture. Called as Mittelschmerz
- Also needed may be dose for the worms.
- Repeat stool test and other blood and urine tests.
- Please give what is the clinical picture at the moment?
