Suggest Treatment For Black Eyes And Memory Problems
Question: my sister ,who is 71 , had a fall recently ,straight onto her face ,black eyes and all the usual related results I am most interested in her memory ;it is lessoned , I think .She has been seen by her family physician and he felt that , yes , she probably had a concussion but, what now with the slight memory problems . Do you all think she should have a cat scan ?
Brief Answer:
Yes the scan is mandatory
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
Head CAT scan should have been done in the first place. It is always done and should never be skipped. And with presentation in description of back eye and memory lapses, i don't see any other way than doing the scan and close observing the patient for any changes in the symptoms like consciousness or seizures. She needs help. Age of 71 makes it a critical level help. get her to a neurological facility and let them take care of her.
i hope it helps take good care of her and yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
May the odds be ever in your favour.
