Suggest Medication For Pounding Headache And Blood Noticed During Cough After An Injury
My brother was wakeboarding this weekend at the lake and took 2 hard falls... one fall he smacked the back of his head and the other he hit his face. After both falls, he said he started coughing up blood and when he blew his nose, blood was coming out. He said he had a pounding headache later that night. Did he get a concussion? What do you think happened? He is 27 years old, 5 10 , in good physical health, works out 5 days a week, weighs about 175#.

Bleeding from the nose, along with headache point towards a possible internal brain injury. A non enhanced CT scan of brain must be done to find out the cause.
