Hello,
Your partner was punched in the face, since then he is complaining of feeling cold though you see that his body temperature is high and temperature outside is not cold. After a traumatic event some people experience chills, feel shaky or may tremble due to surge of
adrenaline. Even if he's aren’t feeling cold, a drop in body temperature may cause chills.
Psychological trauma may also cause chills or shakiness at times due to post- traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Other factors that may cause such symptoms are
low blood sugar, low blood pressure from
panic attack. You are suggested to get him clinically examined by a GP, get all required tests and investigations along with imaging tests done to rule out or detect any injury, trauma,
bone fracture, internal injury / bleeding, etc. He will be accordingly treated. Help him stay away from addictions if any. He should not do any heavy work for a while.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
