Suggest Treatment For Blepharitis

Question: My daughter is 7 years old. In the beginning if XXXXXXX we observed that the eye-lashes of her upper lid had fallen out. We took her to an eye doctor who said that our daughter had blepharitis and prescribed her antibiotic eye drops and corticosteroid balm. No new eye-lashes appeared though. It seems like new eye-lashes are coming out but unfortunately not. We took her to a skin doctor who ran some blood tests. Everything seemed to be OK with that except for the hormone prolactine - it was ver high: 861 first blood test and 585 second blood test. We haven't consulted anyone yet for that. We have an appointment assigned for tomorrow. We would like to know if any of you has any idea what may cause this and what is the actual diagnosis so that we can treat our little girl.

Brief Answer:
it can be blepharitis but apply neosporine eye ointment and rubon eyelid.

Detailed Answer:
After examination the eye doctor have diagnosed as blepharitis it may be correct.there is trichiasis.only thing is eye drop may not help. can take sterile gauge and rub the eye lid and clean it then apply neosporine eye ointment and rub on eye lid there is no need of blood test. hygiene and sanitation is to be maintained. look for dandruff in eye brow and scalp. if present they can effect the eye lid and there can be loss of eye lashes. If so apply nizral solution and followed by nizral shampoo. it can be in scalp and eye brow. maintain cleanliness of linen and comb to avoid spread of dandruff. what i have advised is to be best of my knowledge. From photograph it is evident that cornea is not effected. stop applying any cosmetic in eye lid and conjunctiva exclude diabetes. cleanliness is most important.
