Suggest Treatment For Blocked Nasal Passages And Immense Fatigue

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Apr 2015
Question: I have a further question, and that is how do I break the wake-up cycle at around 2:00 am every night
that I developed because of my blocked nasal passages and which is now causing me immense fatigue during the day
(it takes at least 1-2 hours to fall back asleep). I use the Nasacort but it takes time to work.
I would appreciate advice to help me. I have to drive and work during the day.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Try cream applications

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.
I think I will be able to help you.
The market is full of creams and lotions that work as decongestants like Vicks.
Now your nasal sprays and drops have a limited role as far as time is concerned.
You need to get up to apply them.
I suggest you try one of these creams.
Apply a smear of the cream at bedtime, and sleep.
The cream gives constant flow of its vapours and this helps keep the nose clear longer.
I hope that this helps.
Best of luck.
Dr Mittal
