Suggest Treatment For Blood Blisters In Throat
Nothing serious. We don't need to do a lot at this time for this lesion.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for consulting at XXXXXXX Care Magic !
I have carefully worked through your case, and can well realize your health worries. Being your physician, I will take care all of your medical concerns today and will put my best efforts to get you out of this situation.
You have multiple issues with mucosa of your mouth. It seems that your Pharynx (back wall where you see an ulceration) is granular and that is usually seen in patients with chronic throat irritation.
The lesion you are worried about is not a big issue. It is simply a denudation of the mucosal epithelium. This may happen in dehydration, hard food item swollen that causes a physical damage to the pharynx.
Your left tonsil is either out of view or you had an old tonsillectomy surgery??
Your tongue is showing white plaque like surface that is usually seen in:
Dehydration.
Oral thrush (due to fungal infection).
Anorexia (loss of appetite).
I preferably suggest you to consult your local physician for thorough evaluation and management of the issues discussed above. If your tongue has oral thrush then your physician will have to go for HIV screening/Screening for Diabetes and a few other conditions , to see if your immune system is compromised (being the main cause of thrush).
The lesion you say a blood blister and worried about is nothing serious and no clinical intervention is needed for that at this time. Just keep an eye on that. It should go away in the days to come.
Do gargles with mouthwash that best suits you. Keep a bland diet. Take plenty of fluids to drink and keep yourself well hydrated.
Ask your Physician to rule out GERD (due to hyperacidity in stomach) that is a cause of such "blood blister" due to acid regurg irritating the throat. If you have symptoms of acidity in stomach like heartburn, indigestion, pain or discomfort in stomach area then your physician may go for medications like OMEPRAZOLE with some tests to see the reason for GERD.
Hope I answered all of your questions. Let me know if you have further clinical concerns or doubts. I will be more than happy to get back to you with my expert opinion. For any disease you have, a timely follow-up is very necessary regarding the treatment efficacy and to see if there is a need to change the treatment options. So keep a follow up to see how you doing (Always write down my name in the start of your questions at this forum & I will be with you in no time).

Welcome back with a follow up query. I am more than glad to help you clarify the doubts you have regarding your health.
Removal of tonsils is also a cause of recurrent throat and mouth infections. Yes--acid reflux is one of the major risk factors and reasons for your mouth issues.
Other symptoms of Oral Thrush may be:
White lesions (leukoplakia) on the cheeks too (in addition to tongue).
Change of taste sensations.
Dry mouth.
Cough.
Difficulty in swallowing food.
Bad breath (halitosis) is a prominent feature.
You need to consult a Gastroenterologist for thorough evaluation as aforementioned regarding GERD issues.
For oral thrush Nystatin swish and swallow is used mostly in such cases and is very effective.

Welcome back. Thanks for consulting back with a follow-up query.
Without proper investigations and Physical examination, it is difficult to say that you have some definite medical illness.
We can discuss here only the possibilities based on the limited history and clinical presentations. As aforementioned, I preferably refer you for proper evaluation in-person because you are frequently having mouth and tongue issues as evident from your previous queries at HealthCare Magic.
I hope everything settles down soon for you and you enjoy the best of times ahead.
Hope it helps. Keep a smile and feel free to ask for any more health queries. I appreciate if you leave a feedback and rate this conversation before you click on Close The Discussion. If agreed you may give five stars. Take care.
