Suggest Treatment For Bump On Face
Question: Ive had this bump on my face above my right cheek for a month now. I thought it was a pimple and tried popping but just oozed and bled. I've tried zinc to heal it and than did a acid peel thinking it would help but it didnt. I even tried salycic acid on it but it just made the outside peel. When I rub my face with towel or something it opens it up right on the top of bump and bleeds and kind of a lot. I'm not sure what it is or how to get rid of it? Would a skin tag bleed a lot? Or could it be a wart on my face?!

Brief Answer:
Possibility of pyogenic granuloma
Detailed Answer:
Thank you. I have reviewed the image.
I can see a fleshy, eroded, raised lesion against a background of erythema (probably Port Wine Stain).
This seems like a pyogenic granuloma which is due to rapid, excessive proliferation of capillaries ( extremely vascular and eroded papule which bleeds on slightest trauma) which has probably developed as a result of trying to pop a pimple, squeezing, rubbing and irritation from salicylic peeling of skin.
I suggest you to not to pick or pop it anymore. Try this not getting rubbed with a towel, just lightly mop it with a soft towel. You may use a topical antibiotic e.g nadifloxacin cream or gel.
Pyogenic granuloma may resolve on its own if the inciting stimulus stops to exist. If it doesnt subside on its own it may then be cauterised with the help of a electrocautery or radiofrequency cautery.
