Suggest Treatment For Chronic Pancreatitis

Question: A couple of hours ago I accidentally knocked a slushie off of my nightstand and it landed on 2 power strips that were there. I jumped up and in a panic tried to unplug the electronics that were plugged in (laptop, iPad, iPhone, bi-pap breathing machine and some smaller USB items). My carpet was wet from the slushie and my hands were wet from grabbing the cords and strips. I got a jolt while unplugging my laptop at the same time my daughter was throwing down some towels. I stepped on the towels and in panic mode still tried unplugging the strips from the outlet. I got shocked again. One of the outlets on the strip was black. I could swear I saw a flame spark up from it but it didn't catch fire. I felt dazed and lightheaded but saw no physical injuries and decided I was lucky and just sat and rested. My heart rate was slightly erratic but that is to be expected. What has me concerned is that it is almost 2.5 hours later and I still feel a little "off" occasional very brief chest twinges and I have a massive headache. My husband (who was at work when it happened) thinks I should go to the ER but I think I can wait to see an MD tomorrow morning. I am about 18 months post total pancreatectomy with auto islet transplant r/t chronic pancreatitis. I am type 1 diabetic post TP-AIT (but with episodes of hypoglycemia, that's why I had the slushie: to treat a low blood sugar) and have chronic GI issues related to the pancreatitis. I have a cardiologist of record but only because I had to be cleared for the TP-AIT due to extremely mild MVP and hyperhomocysteinemia. I haven't seen him since my pre-op Echo which was normal. Is it safe to wait to go in to see a dr tomorrow? The SOB resolved within the first 15-20 minutes, my current blood pressure is 150/95 with a heart rate of 98 per my home machine. In my initial confusion I didn't think to check it. My normal BP is in the 120/70 range. Other than the headache and occasional twinge I feel stable. I do have some muscle spasms, but again, I think that's to be expected.

Brief Answer:
I would suggest you to visit the ER now.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HealthCare Magic. Thank you for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.

I have gone through the entire post.
I can understand that you are pretty much anxious about your health.

Since you have had breathlessness , a rise in blood pressure and occasional twitch , I would suggest you to visit the ER without wasting much time.

You need an emergency Electrocardiogram , a chest Xray , cardiac enzyme analysis , Ultrasound of abdomen , a bit of fluid management . FOr this you should go to the ER.

It would have been great had I examined you.

I would suggest you to visit the ER. The ER doctor can examine you and correlate clinically.

Hope this helps.
