Suggest Treatment For Chronic Severe Diarrhea And Stomach Pain

It could be due to malabsorption
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
What you describe seems to be due to a phenomenon called gastrocolic reflex. It disappears in a child but may reappear later and may make one pass stool after each intake of food. But if it is associated with weight loss, the underlying cause needs evaluation. It could be that your uncle is suffering from malabsorption which could result on frequent passage of stool on one hand and weight loss on the other. I would insist you to get his stool microscopy done. It would also be reasonable to get a routine blood count done. Share the reports with me using the facility on the upper right of this page.
Based on the reports I would be able to suggest appropriate interventions. Till then give ORS (oral rehydration solution) to make up for the salt and water loss.
I will await your response.
