Suggest Treatment For Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
Needs 3-4 weeks to heal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The arm brace is given to give rest to the elbow and to avoid any further injury to the inflamed tendons. The mild pressure that it is putting is not harmful.
Occupational changes such as too much use of keyboards and positioning should be changed.
You can use medications such as non-steroidal antiinflammatory to alleviate the symptoms or you use injectable steroidal antiinflammatory such as prednisolone in the dosage of 20mg daily for two weeks (low dose steroids).
The brace may need to be used for 3-4 weeks to allow time for the tendons to heal. Soft tissue therapy can be used to break down adhesions that may be restricting the nerve.
Neural stretching exercises are helpful under the care of a physiotherapist.
Surgery might be needed in severe cases with persistent symptoms.
I hope this answers your query.

Likely to be a tight brace.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
An elbow support should not put too much pressure on the elbow. If you are feeling more sensations with the brace then it can be due to a nerve compression. It is better to loosen the brace or remove it while taking rest at night.
Hope my answer is helpful.
