Suggest Treatment For Dark Spots Inside Vagina
Question: I noticed some dark spots inside my vagina.
I recently removed my cervix and ovaries and fallopian tubes April 23 2015
I didn't have cancer but had some precancer cells of cervix and since I am a very anxious person I decided to remove cervix to avoid future problems. However I asked for a pap test in November and the swab came back atypical cells. My OBGYN told me it could be due to the surgery or that I have no hormones and to check back in one year.
I am very concerned I am always thinking about it and tonight I started examining my vagina and saw a number of dark spots along the inside on each side of the vagina.
I have been reading internet infor and I am scared its cancer.

Brief Answer:
Just harmless pigmentation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
I have seen the image attached. The small spots that you have are almost insignificant and are just small pigmented spots. It is not at all related to atypical cells that were found in the vagina after the surgery. You need not worry.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
