Suggest Treatment For Delayed Menstruation
Question: Hi,
i got my periods on 20th of February and till now i didnt get my periods, i was sexually active with my partner on last and first week of march, but we used condoms everytime we had intercourse. Even I took home pregnancy test twice and it was negative, last time when i took home pregnancy test is on 5th of April. Is there any chance that still I am pregnant. My gynic suggested me to take Meprate 10 mg for 5 days to get the periods. After stopping it for how many days can I expect the period to start?

On which days of the cycle,did you have sexual activity?
As you might be aware that in a woman with regular cycle, days 10 to 20 of the cycle is the most fertile period of the cycle.
If you have correctly used the Condom, then chances of getting pregnant are almost nil.
As your urine pregnancy test is negative, you can assume that you are not pregnant.
Your treating gynecologist has rightly suggested you tablets of progesterone. After stopping the tablets,periods start within 3 to 10 days.
