Suggest Treatment For Depression, Tremors In Hands And Loss Of Appetite

The symptoms are due to protracted withdrawal of benzodiazepine
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for choosing HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your concern. You have been taking Alprazolam 0.5 mg tabs 20-30 tabs per day since Aug 2012 to Aug 2014. Then you decided to quit and took help from a psychiatrist. You were kept hospitalised and were discharged with Toficalm, Ciplar (Propranolol), Paxidep (Paroxetine) and Lamictal (Lamotrigine). Later lamotrigine stopped because of side effects.
Still you have persistent symptoms like lethargy, depressed mood, inactive feelings etc. These effects usually go by taking Zolpidem or Clonazepam. Since last 10 days you have started taking Imipramine and are feeling ok but you again developed hypo like state.
Now coming to management-
First of all as you have taken Alprazolam (a benzodiazepine) for about 2 years in high doses, so even after successful deaddiction for some months you may suffer feeling of lack of energy, lethargy, depressed mood because of long term withdrawal symptoms. The withdrawal is called as protracted withdrawal and as per my opinion some anticraving drug should be added to your therapy to reduce the symptoms. Medicines like Pregabalin, Baclofen can help you to reduce the symptoms in such case. There medicines will reduce restlessness and symptoms of episodic craving. I would strongly advise you to NOT to take ZOLPIDEM or any BENZODIAZEPINE drug again because this may make you dependent on medicines again.
Spasmo Proxyvon is an opioid medicine and taking the drug will not affect your symptoms because the drug have different actions that Benzodiazepines. But the drug is considered as narcotic substance and it has stronger abuse potential than Alprazolam. The drug will make you addicted and it is difficult to come out of its addictions. SO PLEASE DONT THINK TO TAKE THIS MEDICINE TO REDUCE YOUR SYMPTOMS.
Continue to take your prescribed medicines and discuss with your doctor regarding prescription of medicines I have mentioned and you will feel better.
Try to spend your time in constructive activities like playing outdoor games, listening music, doing your work properly.
Don't remain alone for long periods of time.
Exercise daily and you can attend behaviour therapy session to keep yourself relaxed. All these measures will increase your confidence and you will feel better.
Thanks, hope this helps you

Consult your psychiatrist for prescription of the drugs.
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
Pregabalin 150 mg in two decided doses and Baclofen 30 mg in three decided doses should be able to reduce your anxiety and symptoms of craving. Continue to take you antidepressants as advised. Discuss with your psychiatrist for prescription of these drugs. Don't take benzodiazepines or zolpidem for your anxiety, this will make you dependent again.
Thanks, hope this helps you
