Brief Answer:
Diabetes

Detailed Answer:
The glucose levels of 8.2 are considered high, although not critically so meaning acute and severe complications are unlikely to occur at these levels. However, if the glucoses remain in this range over a prolonged length of time such as many years then chronic complications of diabetes are likely to follow.
The goal is target glucoses towards as close to normal as possible without undue low sugar reactions. That being said, the targets are best individualized to the person and the overall broader health and diabetes specific factors such as
Existing diabetes specific complications
Associated heart/ vascular complications
Kidney function
And several other parameters

The A1c of 50 is unusual for a unit of measure. The typical unit is % and can range from 4 5 to as high as 15 % or even higher.
The goal in general is 6.5% to 7% but again it is best to personalize based upon a host of variables, and with a judicious choice of medications
